Our carpet installation procedure:

  • The stretching of carpet to align with walls and to ensure a smooth surface, and the pressing of carpet into place over tack strips or using staples, tape, tacks or glue to hold carpet in place.
  • The cutting and trimming of carpet to fit along wall edges, openings, and projections, and the finishing of the edges with a wall trimmer.

  • The fastening of metal treads across door openings or where carpet meets flooring to hold carpet in place.
  • The removal of scrap materials and replacement of furniture.
  • The disposal of scrap material. (Carpet is considered a hazardous material and must be disposed in a prescribed manner.)
