Our guarantee goes above and beyond our competition. Improperly installed carpet may buckle or wrinkle with time. We guarantee that our installation will remain smooth and wrinkle-free for a full year or we will re-stretch carpet at no charge.
Our carpet installation procedure:
- Planning the layout of the carpet, allowing for expected traffic patterns and placement of seams for best appearance and longest wear.

- The taking of measurements and the study of floor sketches to calculate the area to be carpeted and the amount of material needed. (Carpet is manufactured in a linear fashion and the direction of manufacture must be consistent throughout the carpet installation.)
- The selection and purchase of carpet and padding. (Generally done by the you, the consumer.)
- The moving of furniture from area to be carpeted and the removal of old carpet and padding.
- Inspection of the surface to be covered to determine its condition, and correction of any imperfections that might show through carpet or cause carpet to wear unevenly.
- The measuring, cutting and installation of tack strips along the baseboard or wall.

- The rolling out and cutting of carpet padding to size and the installation of padding.
- The rolling out, measuring, marking, and cutting of carpeting to size with a carpet knife. (Following floor sketches and allowing extra carpet for final fitting.)
- The stretching of carpet to align with walls and to ensure a smooth surface, and the pressing of carpet into place over tack strips or using staples, tape, tacks or glue to hold carpet in place.
- The cutting and trimming of carpet to fit along wall edges, openings, and projections, and the finishing of the edges with a wall trimmer.
- The joining of the edges of carpet and seaming of edges where necessary by using tape with glue and heated carpet iron.

- The fastening of metal treads across door openings or where carpet meets flooring to hold carpet in place.
- The removal of scrap materials and replacement of furniture.
- The disposal of scrap material. (Carpet is considered a hazardous material and must be disposed in a prescribed manner.)
